#NoNonsenseNighat's 10 favourite stalls at Daachi 19

Dupatta kass ke, jogger charha ke, apna GENERATION bag uthaye, #NoNonsenseNighat shopped up a storm at #Daachi19 and boy-o-boy did she have a blast marking her favourite stalls! This year's event is perhaps the most organized one so far, with a lot of new crafts, eateries and activities for children. Experiencing major FOMO? You should! Here are top 10 favourite stalls at #Daachi19 and all the reasons why you should ditch all Sunday(7th April'19) and Monday(8th April'19) plans to head over to Model Town Community Center, between 10 am to 8 00 pm.

1.Sindh Indigenous & Traditional Crafts Company from Sindh

The Tharri white bangles are a steal! The women at the stall told Nighat that the length at which these white bangles are worn indicate the marital status of the woman:If the bangles are worn on the arms, then the woman is single but when it’s worn all the way to the upper arms that suggests she’s married. 2. Sparkling stones from Hunza

Nighat's big on jewellery and this stall featuring hand-made, precious stones silver jewellery she could simply NOT resist! What was striking was that the designs were really contemporary, meticulously finished and there was a plethora to choose from. 3. Hunza Honey/Apricot Oil

Speaking of Hunza, on her last staycation, Nighat got apricot and walnut oils from there and was smitten by their results! They not only strengthen and add lustre to hair,but have a lot of medicinal benefits if consumed orally. This stall not only has these, but also stocks the sought after salajeet, bukwheat,honey and dry fruits from Hunza. Find out more about them on Facebook

4. Abi Art and Craft studio

This stall had alot of merchadise that made Nighat and a lot of crafts enthusiasts around her go all "aww" on the inside. There were hand-embroidered embroidery frame clocks and wall hangins , intricately hand embellished napkins, shirts and dupattas. Yes, this was a serious case of impulse buying! 5. Al Habib Ejaz Truck Art and Craft

Nighat let her inner billo unleash at this Truck Art merchandise stall featuring elaborate floral patterns and calligraphy hand-painted onto lanterns, utensils, accessories, quirky signs and what not, making it a hot favourite at Daachi. 6. Meem candles studio

Nighat stopped dead in her shopping tracks when she was hit by the aroma of Meem candles, made from all natural soy bean wax and premium quality oils, hand-poured in Lahore. Ghulab jaman points for the beautifully done up stall, packaging and warm, smiling faces of the Meem reps! Nighat recommends their 'Mulberry" and "Dark room" scents. 7. Greyscale

In addition to intricately carved, contemporary concrete planters in all shapes and sizes, Nighat was ecstatic to find a refreshing,succulents galore at this stall. 8. Abu Ashas Cermanic Studio

Nighat was smitten by ceramics by Abu Ashas that looked like pieces of art. Platters, bowls, coasters and tiles all rendered in uniquely artistic glazing technique that she had never seen before!

9. Thapey by Tahir Mahmood

Who likes to work in a boring kitchen?! Tahir Mahmood from Thapey understands that! Nighat loved the fun and colourful chattu wattay, bailain, lattus and hanging pegs. 10. One Earth Toys

The inner child in Nighat couldn't help but be mesmerized by the clean cut, earthy looking toys from this label that aims to to bring children closer to nature and to develop their senses through play.
