Benazir Bhutto was emblematic of the GENERATION mantra that power dressing isn’t the antonym of femininity! She made the headscarf and dupatta “fashionable”- previously symbolic of a woman’s weakness- and showed Pakistani women how to dress like they mean business without challenging Pakistani sensibilities through monotone and colour blocked, clean silhouettes which were a marriage of eastern and western wear, accentuated with a dupatta neatly poised on a bun.

As a working mother, Sidra strongly relates to Benazir’s struggles. In a “Kutch Fiesta” classic shalwar qameez and a complementing white dupatta, she reminisces the historic day when the world witnessed Pakistan’s first female Prime Minister take an oath!
